About the Artist
Kara Young started her career in the San Francisco Bay Area. Fifteen years ago she moved to the peaceful mesas of Santa Fe in enchanted New Mexico. This was a longtime dream of hers and a welcome inspiration of soft curves everywhere. She makes the art panels that she works on out of hand cast abaca paper. The paper panels give a wonderful organic feeling to the art work. These panels are 3/4” - 1 1/2” in depth and they are very strong and also very lightweight. They are wired and ready to hang without a frame. Other materials she uses to further enhance these natural directions are cement mixtures to create cracks like those nature displays in dry river beds. The joint compound mixtures allow her to create rock like textures. One of the most important materials Kara creates is the richly fired and patinated copper, which she uses as a focal point in each work of art. They are the signature of her work and the personality of each piece. Kara Young’s goal is to work in partnership with the Forces of Nature ( Fire, Water, Air ) to see what beauty arises and to share this beauty with others through her work. Kara Young’s art pieces are one-of-a-kind, limited production. Larger sizes available by commission.

Please allow 7-10 business days to process your order. Custom framing requires approximately 2 weeks of additional processing time.
Framed artwork and stretched canvases are expertly packed in custom boxes. Unframed prints and unstretched canvases ship in tubes.

Don’t love your new artwork? Return or exchange your purchase within 30 days after delivery. Unfortunately, after 30 days we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the artist or studio.
We are not able to offer refunds in the following cases:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
- Sale Items: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Framing fees are non-refundable. If your purchase qualifies for a refund, any framing fees will be deducted from your refund.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the purchaser had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the purchaser and they will be notified of your return.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged due to our error. If you need to make an exchange, send us an email at email@example.com to begin the exchange process.
Refunds (if applicable)
If you need to return an item, email firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the return process. You will be asked to return the item to 310 Culvert Street, 5th Fl. | Cincinnati, Ohio, USA 45202.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company or bank.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Returning Your Item(s)
To return your product, first contact firstname.lastname@example.org, then mail the item to: Blink Art | 310 Culvert Street, 5th Fl. | Cincinnati, Ohio, USA 45202.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Blink Art reserves the right to cancel any order if the company determines, in its sole discretion, that the item is out of stock, discontinued, or otherwise unavailable. If Blink Art cancels an order, you will receive an email confirmation of such cancellation and you will not be charged for your order. If an original work of art has been sold, we will make every attempt to work with the customer and artist to find an appropriate replacement.
